Privacy Policy

Last Updated: September 23, 2026

At SharpPoster (“we”, “us”, or “our”), we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how our website, applications, AI studio, and social media broadcasting services (collectively, the “Service”) collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information, including when you connect third-party accounts such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Telegram, Pinterest, and Discord through official platform APIs.

Key Privacy Commitments

Zero Data Selling: We never sell, monetize, or rent your personal data or social media tokens to third parties or brokers.
User-Initiated Publishing: We only publish videos to your connected channels when explicitly commanded by you.
Encrypted Security: All OAuth tokens and secrets are stored with industry-standard encryption at rest and TLS in transit.
Instant Revocation: You can disconnect and permanently revoke access anytime from within SharpPoster or directly via third-party settings.

01.Information We Collect

We collect information to provide, personalize, and improve our video generation and multi-channel publishing tools. The information collected falls into the following categories:

A. Information You Provide Directly

When you register an account or use SharpPoster, you provide credentials such as your name, email address, password, workspace settings, creative prompts, and media assets (images, audio, or video files uploaded for AI rendering).

B. Data Collected via Social Integrations

When you authenticate and link your social media accounts using official OAuth consent dialogs, we receive permissions and data authorized by you:

  • Account Identifiers: Your unique user or page ID, public display name, handle (username), and avatar image URL.
  • OAuth Access Credentials: Short-lived access tokens and refresh tokens required to interact with official API endpoints on your behalf.
  • Content & Publishing Metadata: Video files, post titles, captions, hashtags, privacy levels, and publishing timestamps you schedule.

Important: SharpPoster does not access, read, or store your private direct messages, personal payment details, personal contacts, or private browsing history.

C. Technical & Usage Information

We automatically log standard diagnostic data, including browser type, operating system, IP address, request timestamps, and API response logs to maintain platform stability and prevent abuse.

02.How We Use Your Information

We process your personal and social platform information strictly for the following purposes:

  • Automated Publishing: Uploading and publishing your user-approved video content directly to your selected channels.
  • Authentication & Session: Verifying your identity and keeping your connected social channels securely synchronized.
  • Publishing Status & Feedback: Displaying publishing progress, status logs, and confirmation links in your console.
  • Security & Anti-Abuse: Protecting against malicious activity, rate limit violations, and security incidents.

03.Data Sharing & Third-Party Disclosure

SharpPoster respects your content and confidentiality. We adhere to the following strict disclosure guidelines:

No Third-Party Sale: We do not sell, rent, license, or share your personal information or connected platform tokens with any third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.

Official Platform APIs: When you authorize video publishing, data necessary to fulfill the request is sent directly to official third-party API endpoints in compliance with platform terms and developer policies.

Infrastructure Service Providers: We may share data with trusted infrastructure providers (such as cloud hosting, managed database servers, and AI compute partners) solely for operating our backend. These partners are bound by strict data protection agreements.

Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by a valid legal subpoena, court order, or applicable law.

04.Data Retention & Security Storage

We apply defense-in-depth security practices to safeguard your credentials and data:

  • Encryption: All network communications use TLS 1.3 encryption. Sensitive authentication tokens and API keys are stored in encrypted databases.
  • Token Lifecycle: OAuth access tokens expire automatically according to platform security specifications. When a token expires or when you disconnect your account, active credentials are decommissioned.
  • Media Files: Rendered video files are temporarily retained on secure cloud storage to facilitate scheduled publishing and user download. Videos can be deleted upon request or account termination.
05.

User Rights, Data Deletion & Revoking Social Access

You maintain complete control over your accounts and data:

Disconnecting from the SharpPoster Console:

Inside the SharpPoster platform under the Connected Accounts / Channels view, click “Disconnect” on your profile. This immediately revokes and permanently purges your stored OAuth tokens from our database.

Permanent Data Deletion Requests:

If you wish to have all personal data, user records, connected channel credentials, and uploaded media completely and permanently erased from our systems:

  • Send an email to privacy@sharpposter.ai with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”.
  • Include your registered username or email address.
  • Our security team processes all data erasure requests within 30 days and will provide written confirmation upon full deletion.
Revoking Access Directly via Platform Security Portals:

In addition to managing integrations within SharpPoster, you can revoke access permissions at any time directly through official third-party security dashboards:

  • Google & YouTube API Services: SharpPoster uses YouTube API Services. You can review and revoke access to your YouTube channel at any time via the Google Security Settings. Usage of YouTube integrations is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Meta (Facebook & Instagram): Manage and remove connected business apps via Facebook Business Integrations.
  • TikTok: Manage authorized applications inside TikTok app settings under Settings > Security > Manage App Permissions.

06.Children's Privacy

Our Service is intended for content creators, agencies, and professionals. SharpPoster does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please notify us at privacy@sharpposter.ai, and we will promptly delete the data.
